Because He Lives

 

Because He Lives - what does it mean for your life? It means the worst thing that can happen to you doesn’t get the final word.

It means death isn’t the end of the story for those who belong to Him. It means your hope isn’t built on secular wishful thinking or telling yourself "things will somehow work out." It’s built on a living Savior who has already passed through death and overcome it.

- Because He lives, you can face tomorrow without pretending you know what tomorrow holds.

- Because He lives, failure doesn’t have to become your identity. You can repent, get back up, and keep walking.

- Because He lives, suffering can wound you without convincing you that God has abandoned you.

- Because He lives, obedience is never wasted, even when nobody notices it.

- Because He lives, wealth and lustful pleasure don’t have to become your gods. You’re already offered something infinitely deeper than either can give.

- Because He lives, you can forgive what once seemed unforgivable, love people who can’t repay you, and keep doing good when cynicism would be easier.

Death is a doorway, not a dead end. “Because I live, you also will live.” (John 14:19) Jesus is alive.
