The pain of death

The pain of loss, especially of losing someone we dearly love, can be overwhelming and even incapacitating. Life can bring heartache more painful than we ever thought possible. In those times God can seem distant and even uncaring, but neither is true. God promises in His Word to be with us always, so no matter what our feelings may suggest, we can know that He is with us. He never leaves our side. When our burdens and sorrows seem too heavy for us to bear, He offers to carry them for us, inviting us to cast them upon Him. (Psalm 55:22) And when the sorrow is so great that we feel we cannot put one foot in front of the other, God gives us this promise: “I will carry you; I will sustain you”. (Isaiah 46:4). JCountrymam
