Crazy Love

I can hear her heart beat for a thousand miles
And the heavens open every time she smiles
And when I come to her that's where I belong
Yet I'm running to her like a river's song

Chorus:
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love
She give me love, love, love, love, crazy love

She's got a fine sense of humor when I'm feeling low down
And when I come to her when the sun goes down
Take away my trouble, take away my grief
Take away my heartache, in the night like a thief

Yes I need her in the daytime
Yes I need her in the night
Yes I want to throw my arms around her
Kiss her hug her kiss her hug her tight

And when I'm returning from so far away
She gives me some sweet lovin' brighten up my day
Yes it makes me righteous, yes it makes me feel whole
Yes it makes me mellow down in to my soul

I have 3 different versions of this song.
The first one is for my sweet Eddie...oh how i loved him, that desperate, save me kind of love. he broke my heart because he just couldn't love me enough. He played this song for me one night while we were on the phone - I started falling in love with him right then.  The first note of this song pierces my heart and reminds me of my desperate love for him.

the second version is for my forever love...Bennett...he saved me from my heartbreaking love for Eddie. When I met Bennett I was saying goodbye to the hopes and dreams i had for me and Eddie. He made me realize that there was someone else out there that could love me...love me and let me be whole and happy. He showed me what real love is. He gave me hope...hope for a new life and a forever love.

and the third version is now my favorite...it is the version that is played in my favorite movie, Always. this version just makes me believe in Love...loving and being loved. It reminds me that i have experienced this crazy love -

my first puppy love that awakened my heart to how love can make you feel - happy and sad and ecstatic and heartbroken;

my love for a husband who tried to love me but didn't know how to without controlling and smothering me;

a desperate but healing love that let me know that i was still a desirable woman and worthy of being loved;

and finally this forever, special lasting love I have with Bennett.

I am so blessed that I have loved and been loved with a Crazy kind of love.

Version 1 - Scott Anslie
Version 2 - Michael Buble
Version 3 - Van Morrison
