Blessed Assurance

This is one of my favorite hymns. 
Just listening to the words touches my heart...knowing that Jesus is my Savior
The wonderful, blessed assurance that He died on a cross for me.
What love - that he loved me enough to die on a cross for me.
Tears of sadness and joy slip from my eyes as I listen and let the love fill my heart.

Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine

Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His Spirit, washed in His blood

Perfect submission, all is at rest
